Job Description

We are urgently seeking an Admin Team Leader (Cargo) to join our Ground Handling client. This role is following a 4 on 4 off shift patter 0700-1900, 1900 - 0700.The organisation that you will be joining is an award winning ground handling business that has been operating for 10 years plus in the Heathrow area. Their staff retention is extremely high, and they focus on ongoing training and employee development.Salary to £30kThe role is starting immediately so please apply ASAP to secure an immediate interview.Admin Team Manager

  • Report directly to Cargo Duty Manager
  • The ability to work on own initiative, often under pressure.
  • Positive attitude to rapid changing environment.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety issues.
  • Clear understanding of Security procedures
  • Ability to delegate tasks maintaining staff motivation.
  • Ability to develop staff through coaching / training.
  • Ability to solve problems or suggest credible solutions.
  • To provide and maintain a high level of service and accuracy in processing the movement of cargo in line with company and airline requirements.
  • To ensure that all staff on shift are being utilized correctly and to the best of their capabilities.
  • Using designated software and appropriate paperwork to correctly process import and export shipments in accordance with company, customs and CAA regulations.
  • To lead and work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
  • To be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
    • To complete any other such reasonable duties at the request of Management
