Job Description

Great opportunity for a Warehouse and Transport Operations Manager to join a well-established 3PL in the Felixstowe area.You will facilitate the effective completion of customer orders through maintaining efficient warehouse and transport functions.Key Responsibilities:Ensure warehouse operations across 3 shifts achieves set performance objectivesEnsure stock integrity with regular PI checksEnsure all fleet are operated and maintained within legal guidelinesControl Warehouse, Transport, and facility operating costs within set budgetary parametersMaintain the operation within H&S legal guidelinesKey Skills/Experience:

  • Previous experience of managing a logistics site
  • Knowledge of best practice for warehouse and transport operations
  • Accustomed to setting, implementing, and reporting on operational cost management initiatives.
  • Used to working in a KPI culture and closely tracking performance levels.
  • Continuous Improvement management skills
  • Stock and delivery systems knowledge
  • An accomplished communicator and leader who ideally, is used to customer facing operations.
