Job Description

Here at TLP we are looking to recruit an NVOOC coordinator for one of our successful shipping clients in Felixstowe.Heavily customer service based we are looking for someone who is well-versed in the freight forwarding sector who can bring experience and expertise to the role while providing an excellent service to our customers and vendors across the UK as well as internationally with import and export shipmentsWhile varied in its nature, the role will suit those with a well-rounded skillset who can oversee:

  • Coordinating payment to vendors and invoicing customers.
  • Daily communication with overseas agents.
  • Dealing with and organising bookings of Airfreight , LCL & FCL shipments.
  • Arranging and coordinating buyer’s consolidation shipments.
  • Checking purchase invoices to ensure cost is in accordance with rates at time of shipment.
  • Invoicing of all shipments to customer as necessary according to credit arrangements
  • Lodging Bills of Landing / Cheques with shipping line according to credit arrangements
  • Obtaining and submitting quotes from overseas agents and to customers for approval
  • Passing of all files to customs entry team in a timely manner to ensure prompt clearance
  • Updating freight rates to customer as required for full containers
    • Experience in this role is essential due to the need for candidates to be able to understand and excel in the following software related tasks:
  • Inputting of all shipping data onto Sapphire to create job files as well as creating all necessary documents on the system.
  • Releasing cargo on Destin 8 / CNS.
