Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an ambitious, growing media and publishing company with a global client base, as a Senior Sales Executive. You will be part of the wider sales and marketing team reporting into the Sales Manager. The successfulcandidate will join a dynamic company working Mon to Fri 95.30pm with free parking, we offer a basic salary of c£30k to £35k plus generous bonus with a realistic OTE of c£40 to £45k in an uncapped commission structure.The Senior Sales Executive would suit candidates with a proven sales career either within a B2B role with any Media, Marketing, Events, Publishing, Advertising or similar being an advantage. You will be managing an existing portfolio of business as well as moving the business forward with new clients. The right candidate can expect to develop theirabilities with real career prospects and uncapped earning potential.Reporting to the sales manager, responsibilities include: Manage advertising and sponsorship sales across print, digital and event platforms for leading media portfolios within the aerospace industry A majority of the sales will be performed over the telephone but, on occasion, some face-to-face presentations may be required such as attending international trade events Manage existing accounts and develop new business The candidate will be expected to achieve sales targets and present accurate prospects and revenue updates on a weekly basis Keep client database up-to-date with new and existing contacts Work with designers and production team to ensure the smooth transition of client advertising campaigns Work with editorial and marketing teams to consider new projects and/or brand extensions to drive revenue streams As an international business, the candidate will be expected at times if so required, to work outside normal business hoursSkills: Training will be provided on our portfolio but we are ideally looking for a minimum of two years B2B sales experience The candidate must demonstrate a good sales technique, including negotiation and over-coming objections across a range of business customers Demonstrate an overall professional approach to the sales function With strict deadlines, demonstrate the ability to handle pressure situations Confident individual with a creative approach Enthusiastic and driven to get the job done The ability to work on their own initiative Being comfortable in travelling internationally Good IT skills with experience using MS Excel, Outlook and Word Good communication skills, both written and verbally The ability to adapt as negotiations will be conducted with people from various culturesThis is an exciting opportunity offering a varied role providing a different challenge each day.
