Job Description

Information Assurance Engineer - DV ClearedMy client is looking to add an Information Assurance Engineer to their well established team. You will be in a customer facing role in supporting secure systems into sensitive government and defence projects. The successful candidates will need to have a background in working on sensitive government /MOD projects as well as a good depth of knowledge in security technologies.Responsibilities:

  • Working collaboratively with the cyber security professionals across the business to define and deliver solutions.
  • Conducting risk assessments, analysis and/or audits in either Cyber Security or Information Assurance,
  • Working with clients to identify and respond to cyber threats and security risks which might have an impact on their business,
  • Deriving, analysing & developing mitigations for information risk in a given business scenario and threat environment,
    • Skills and Exposure:
  • Demonstrable Information Assurance/Risk Management exposure within MOD environments including writing, updating and reviewing RMADS, SyOPs and other security documentation
  • Defence sector exposure, including a good understanding of the constraints imposed by JSP440 and JSP604
  • Rounded knowledge of Information Security and Cyber Risk.
  • Deep understanding of HMG and MoD Information Assurance policies and architectural patterns
