Electronic Test EngineerBased in Farnborough£30-£32k per annumExcellent benefits package including bonus and private health insuranceDay shift - Full time positionFor over 50 years, our has provided mission critical systems to detect, measure and analyse radiation to protect people, property and the environment. This positionreports to the Production Manager based in Farnborough, Hampshire.Definition: To ensure consistent and acceptable product and system quality though stringent testing. To support customer repairs.Purpose of the Role Setup, test and calibration of the company’s products and systems also repairs.Key Responsibilities• Setup and testing of PC controlled High Temperature CCD and tube camera systems with their sub assemblies, to company standards, specifications and test procedures• Setup and testing of single or multiple nuclear camera systems and their sub assemblies to company standards, specifications and test procedures• These tasks require an in depth knowledge of both digital and analogue television video systems and good fault finding/circuit analysis skills• Electrical safety testing (PAT) of products prior to carrying out company test procedures• Uphold the Company’s core values of Integrity, Commitment, Accountability, Innovation and RespectSkills• An in depth knowledge of both digital and analogue television video systems as well as general electronic principles• Carrying out company test procedures• Good fault finding and circuit analysis skills• Able to operate various types of test equipment• Good computer skills• Able to communicate detailed ideas and instructions both verbal and written• To look for ways to make continuous improvementsQualifications and Experience• Enthusiastic and self motivated yet able to work in a close knit team• Be fully qualified to HNC/HND or have relevant industry experience in electronic engineering of both analogue and digital television and video testing techniques• An ONC qualified candidate with suitable industry experience would be considered• Excellent fault finding abilities• Fully PC literate with good communication skills
