Job Description

First Achieve are currently looking for an established Reliability Engineer who has experience with Submersibles, Pumps and Hydro to join an established company. Our client are world leading in their field, Based out of the Falkirk Area in Central Scotland.Due to there consistent success and winning of new contracts they are currently looking to add an experienced reliability engineer to their talented team.The role would best suit someone who has served a recognised apprenticeship, with relative engineering qualifications who can Analyse equipment failures using recognized techniques (e.g. Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Reliability Centred Maintenance,Root Cause Analysis etc.) they would also be looking for someone who can Deliver technical support to all contract assets.Whats on offer

  • £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE)
  • Full time, permanent position
  • Monday to Friday, Day Shift Position
  • 8% Contribution to Pension by Employer
  • 35 Days Annual Leave per Year, plus last Friday of the month off.
Responsibilities
  • Assess equipment/system performance/condition using available data sources
  • Review equipment repair activities
  • Identify potential areas of new business and support the development of such
  • Lead Management of Change (MoC) activities as appropriate
  • Ensure customer satisfaction within service industry workshop achieving on time delivery targets met, work completed within budgeted allowable hours (cost), and to required quality.
  • Identify reliability/availability improvement areas and advise accordingly
Required Skills
  • Degree/HND qualified in associated engineering discipline with relevant experience
  • Experience of similar role
  • Extensive experience within a rotating machinery including both mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Knowledge of quality systems and standards
  • Knowledge of engineering and technology principles and practice
