Job Description

Job description We are seeking a project reviewer to help with submitting renewable energy funding applications to the government such as Ofgems Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme. This role includes the following:

  • Liaising with multiple clients for gathering technical data
  • Liaising with Ofgem to ensure that their requests are fully understood and delivered
  • Using Excel spreadsheet templates to calculate energy usage and performance
  • Processing gathered information into a coherent format that is Ofgem friendly
  • Providing consistent and regular updates to clients and regulators
  • Carrying out site across the whole of the UK; to advise on compliance with government schemes
For the right candidate there are more skilled tasks, including:
  • Creating plumbing diagrams from templates
  • Using drawing packages to create schematics from templates
Essential skillsThis role is very much customer and stakeholder focused. The ideal applicant should have excellent interpersonal skills. In addition to this we would look for the following:
  • Employment or educational experience of renewable energy systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Must be competent with Microsoft Office packages- Word & Excel
  • Able to type at respectable speeds
  • Excellent organisational skills,
  • Must be able to work independently and prioritise work load
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Must have attention to detail.
  • Must be efficient worker
  • Must be able to manage high workloads across many different projects and clients.
  • Must be able to adapt and fit the service to each client
  • We are expanding as an organisation and may look for this role to cover new areas of the business.
Desirable skills
  • Technical knowledge or understanding of plumbing systems
  • Degree in STEM subject
  • Ability to use drawing software e.g. Adobe Illustrator/Inkscape
ContractThis position is available on a full-time basis. The salary will be based on experience but wage increases will be available on a six-month basis depending on performance.The role will be a mixture of working from home and from the office each week.Job Type: Full-time
