Development Project Manager/Planner - Scotland - £50,000-£65,000 - Wind + other technologies (solar, battery, biogas)I have just partnered exclusively with one of the most experienced European and Global wind energy developers that are expanding their operations further afield and adding to their Scottish team. They are looking for development project managers/planners tohelp get their projects through the development life cycle and into the construction phases. This is a company that has been ridiculously successful over the last decade and beyond in developing, constructing, and maintaining major renewable energy projectswhich include solar and battery storage.You would be joining an advanced fast-growing renewables business that show no sign of slowing down and have an output of nearly 4GW globally (with half of these being built) and 15GW worth of projects in development across the world. Therefore, you would havethe security of knowing there will be pipeline for you to keep doing what you do best and that is planning these huge projects!What would your role look like Your role as a project development manager/planner would essentially be coming in to manage part of the companys renewable energy portfolio, which would include initial site selections all the way through to EIAs, post planningand then pre-construction compliance requirements. You would also be playing an integral part in interacting with other European teams across the business which would therefore gain you exposure to other areas and thus build up your international knowledgefor future career paths. You would be engaging with predominantly wind projects but would also have the chance to work on other renewable energy technologies so could further expand your skillset.
