Job Description

Are you looking for a competitive salary plus benefitsDo you have experience as an Operations ManagerThen read on!OPERATIONS MANAGERFalkirk£42,500.00 - £45,000.00 + company vehicle + 25 days holidayThermal Hire Ltd, an on-site heat treatment company are looking to recruit an Operations Manager for our Scotland depot.The successful candidate will be based out of our office in Falkirk, working Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00hrs. Primary day to day duties of this role will include but not be limited to:Responsibilities Include:

  • Daily management of heat treatment technicians work, currently a team of 10 technicians.
  • Managing client and potential client enquiries through CRM, raising quotations and following the enquiries through to an appropriate conclusion.
  • Booking in upcoming jobs and projects.
  • Booking the necessary equipment out to carry out the jobs and projects.
  • Maintaining and keeping up to date the training records relating to the heat treatment technicians.
  • Maintaining regular contact with clients that have on-going and future projects.
  • Collating the weekly hours, accommodation and expenses of the heat treatment technicians and forwarding this information to payroll to enable the weekly wages to be processed.
    • About YouThe ideal candidate will need to be organised, able to manage time/prioritise tasks and be confident on the phone speaking to various people.The industries we work in are; Oil and gas, Power production, Petro-chem, refractory installation, pipeline and vessel fabrication.
