Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Falkirk, is currently looking to recruit a Kitchen Assistant for as soon as possible until 31st October on a rate of £11.03 per hour PAYE. The working hours are 32 hours per week – 8 hours per dayover 4 days. This role will be based on site.Responsibilities:- Daily preparation in the kitchen- Food preparation as required- Working alongside Head Chef, Sous Chefs and the front of house team to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen - Ensuring health and safety records are kept up to date.- Managing food purchase and storage- Menu planning and managing COS in line with budgets - Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.- Be aware of the food preparation level during busy and quiet times.Essential Skills:- NVQ Level 2 or above in Catering- Prior work experience in hospitality - Good communication and team working- Highly organised with excellent planning- Able to work under pressure in a high-paced environment- A full driving licenceIf you would like to hear more about this opportunity please get in touch.
