HEAD BAKER - FALKIRK - DAYTIME ONLY SHIFTSSalary: Up to £24,000 per annum (depending on experience) 45 hour per week, weekends off on a rota basisWe are delighted to have been asked to recruit for this Head Bakers position in a flagship site, for an established and successful company, that continues to trade well in the current climate. The site has undergone a transformational refurbishment andextension with a large restaurant and coffee shop and a brand new kitchen.The Head Baker we are looking for will have a quality fresh food background with experience gained in the branded or independent restaurant/cafe/pub/hotel sectors.The offer is quick service in style with a morning breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea offer served in relaxed surroundings. All delivered with attentive service putting the customer experience at the heart of everything they do.It is a very busy operation so you will need some volume experience.A massive bonus is that it is a daytime only operation, so you will have a great work life balance.MAIN DUTIESProduce home baking and pastries with the wow factorBe able to bake a wide range of homemade bakery productsLead the Bakery team, taking full ownership and being a passionate team memberWork to company spec menusMonitor portion control and wastageEnsure adherence to food safety controls, allergens and kitchen cleanlinessKEY EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTESExperience in a similar Baker role in a busy, quality fresh food restaurant, caf or coffee shop operationMust have great kitchen skills and be able to produce quality baked food in high volumes and to high standardsHard working attitude and prepared for a challengeBe innovative, creative and up to date with trendsUse culinary knowledge to ensure creativity and passion shows through to customersEnthusiastic and passionate you will have a natural flair and the ability to work under pressure.Be a team player with a bright personality.A consistent performer with great attention to detailThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Head Baker to progress their careerAPPLY TODAYPlease note: You must be resident in the UK and eligible to work.
