Job Description

*** DEPUTY MANAGER ****** MENTAL HEALTH****** EXMOUTH ****** £25,000 ****** FULL TIME ***Brook Street Social Care is offering a new exciting and rewarding role as a Deputy Manager within Mental Health Residential Care Home in Exmouth.You will be providing friendly, compassionate, person-centred, professional, and inspirational support for an amazing Residential Care Home which specialise in Mental Health and Learning Disabilities.The aim is to support our clients to continue developing their key skills, being independent and active in making decisions while living in our home.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • As a Deputy Care Manager, you will assist the Registered Manager with all aspects of the Care Home management.
  • You will ensure the delivery of high-quality care in line with both company and CQC guidelines.
  • To be actively engaged with service users and staff, continuously seeking opportunities for improvements to service users lifestyles.
  • As a Deputy Care Manager, you will be able to demonstrate effective management
  • Provide support and supervision to their team members and act as a role model for them so that they are encouraged to understand the people they are supporting.
  • As a Deputy Care Manager, you will ensure that health and safety practices are maintained to a high standard, that regular checks are carried out in accordance with legislation and policies, and procedures.
ABOUT YOU:
  • You have a knowledge and understanding of the current legal responsibilities and standards of the service, including the need for the management and delivery of person-centred service
  • You can effectively manage the performance of others
  • Excellent communication skills
  • You have professional attitude
  • You are HIGHLY MOTIVATED, ORGANISED and RESOURCEFUL.
