YARD OPERATIVE – IMMEDIATE START – EXETERgap personnel are currently recruiting for a yard assistant for a company based on the outskirts of Exeter. This is a temporary assignment initially, but may lead to permanent opportunities.As a yard assistant you will be responsible for the site indoor and outdoor facilities whilst ensuring any day to day repairs are completed correctly. You will be good allrounder across trades with basic knowledge of carpentry, painting & decorating, whilst working in a methodical and practical manner.The site manufactures products which are distributed throughout the UK and Europe and therefore have daily inbound and outbound vehicles entering and exiting the site. You will provide the site with general yard housekeeping and maintenance, whilst also supporting production and warehouse areas with upkeep, cleanliness, painting and electrical fixing.
