Pertemps Exeter are looking for a Days Warehouse Operative to work in Aylesbeare, Devon.Our client is a specialised export bookseller, working mostly with schools, universities, and other educational institutions predominately in Africa and Europe.Own transport is essential due to location (15 minutes drive from Greendale on a farm).You will have responsibility for the full process of dispatch, including:o Checking goods in onto the company system and ensuring that it is in excellent conditiono Picking, packing and arranging deliverieso Dispatching shipments to various worldwide destinationso Complying with Health & Safety in the warehouseIt is a 37.5-hour week and there will be the opportunity to work longer hours if desired, at an enhanced rate.Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm - There is flexibility to theses hours.No experience is necessary but must have:" good communication skills" high-level of IT skills" be extremely reliableAccuracy and attention to detail are essential. Warehouse work will involve some heavy lifting and manual duties. Candidate must enjoy being busy, carrying out a range of tasks quickly and being part of a friendly team. You will be required to pack a rangeof goods including books and educational resources.Own transport is essential due to location (15 minutes drive from Greendale on a farm).This is not an average warehouse role; it is very detailed, and you must have people with a high level of IT skills and an ability to work in a complex and varied environment.
