Heres an idea of what youll be doing on a daily basis:Job Purpose:The Warehouse Operative is responsible for carrying out any role required of them within the warehouse environment. This can range from picking and packing of orders within the automated system, themedicalbulkarea, the fridgeareaand secure areas, whilstif required,carrying out roles within the transport environment. They are responsible for the overall processing of the customer orders efficiently and at the agreed company rate.Key AccountabilitiesOperating Standards

• Where required must accurately assemble items from the pick documentation and ensure that the quantity pickedis accurate.
• Special care must be taken to avoid damage and the appropriate bin/packaging used - all damages must be reported to theline team leader.
• Any pick face errors must be reported to theline team leadersimmediately.
• Any visible errors within the warehouse environment must be reportedto line team leadersimmediately
• If there is a problem with a particular line / area theline team leadermust be informed
• Hospital orders are assembled in the same way but must be given to the hospital checker to ensure accuracy

• Special check orders are assembled in the same way but must be given to the special checker to ensure accuracy
• MedicalBulk orders, Fridge orders & Secureareaorders must be picked in the same way however each have specific criteria that will be covered through training
• Any errorsmust be responded to immediately.
• All unusual quantitiesin picking processmust be brought to the attention of the lineteam leader
• Any suspected / actual issues relating to an order itself must bereported to the line team leader
• Any issues relating to transport activities must be reported to the lineteam leader
• Awareness of Health & Safety procedures always.
• Thewarehousearea must be always kept clean and tidy and free from rubbish.
