Location: South West of EnglandContract: PermanentHours: Full time 37.5 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon-Fri)Salary: Between £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience + £5,000 Car AllowanceBenefits package:

THE ROLEBritish Business Bank has a new vacancy to appoint a UK Network Senior Manager to be based in the South West of England.You will act as one of two BBB "in the field" representatives covering the South West of England, engaging with stakeholders and partners across the whole of the region, but with a particular focus on Bristol, Dorset, Devon, Gloucestershire, Somerset andWiltshire. Working closely with the other UK Network Senior Manager in the South West, who focusses on Cornwall and Isles of Scilly, you will be based in the region, but will also keep in touch with developments across the UK Network (UKN), the Regional FundingTeam and British Business Bank (BBB) more generally.You will develop active relationships with a diverse network of key organisations involved in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in a post-Covid-19 trading environment. These organisations will be from across the public, private and thirdsectors and SME member organisation sectors.You will need to maintain regular and ongoing dialogue with these stakeholders to gather intel and ensure the BBB has an accurate and up to date understanding of the access to finance landscape in the region.To be considered for this role you will ideally have an existing and active network within the SME support and/or economic development ecosystem in the South West along with knowledge and experience of the SME access to finance ecosystem in the region (thiscould have been gained as an entrepreneur).You must also be able to demonstrate experience of building successful long-term relationships across a diverse range of external partners and stakeholders and have an empathy with SMEs and be passionate about working to support them.You will be open and collaborative in your approach, willing to speak up on issues both internally and externally; and be comfortable operating with ambiguity in a changing environment.A broad knowledge and/or understanding of the economic and political profile, drivers and priorities, including the demographic profile of SMEs, across the South West would also be a distinct advantage.To view the full job description please visit the British Business Bank Careers PageABOUT US The British Business Bank is a unique and exciting institution.
