Tarmac Surfacing Operative Were looking for aTarmac Surfacing Operative to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks South-West Water team based in Exeter.Location: Based in Exeter with travel across the picturesque, coastal Southwest region - company vehicle will be provided.Contract: Permanent - Full TimeSalary: Weekly paid with a basic salary of£11.79 - £14.00per hour (dependant on experience) with the potential to significantly increase your take-home package with standby, call-out, and overtime. All hours worked on standby will be paidat x 1.9(£22.4 - £26.6) overtime rates vary between x 1.35 - x 1.9 shift and day dependant. Standby payments are additional (not hourly) at £20-£45 and call out from £10-£40.Our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks division brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected. In this role, you will be working on our Southwest Water contract, where we work on repairs and maintenance services to providereliable, efficient, and high-quality drinking water and wastewater services.What will you be responsible forAs a Tarmac Surfacing Operative, youll be working within the Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks South-West Waterteam, supporting them in working on back-filling open holes, tarmac/concrete reinstatement, kerb laying and providing sitesupport while being a part of a close-knit team that values comradery and collaboration.
