Job Description

Real Living Wage Employer | Flexible, Hybrid Working | Devon and SomersetOur client, the largest independent accountancy practice is seeking to recruit an experienced Talent Acquisition Officer to be based within any of their Devon or Somerset Offices. Reporting to the Head of HR the ideal candidate will lead on the end-to-endrecruitment processes, identifying and attracting key talent and driving resourcing solutions.This role offers flexible, Hybrid working with up to 4 days working from home once past probation. 36.25 hours per weekResponsibilities include: -The main duties (but not limited to) are the following: -

  • Weekly strategic planning and review of all recruitment matters with the Head of Human Resources.
  • Drafting and publishing recruitment adverts
  • Working closely with recruitment agencies including agreeing terms and invoices.
  • Daily review and processing of job and work experience applications including GDPR compliance.
  • Communication with candidates including offers, contractual information, and regrets.
  • Responsibility for IRIS HR Recruitment system and training / ongoing training of new recruitment managers
  • Onboarding and Exit management
Requirements include: -Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following attributes, skills, experience and qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years recent recruitment experience at a similar level including use of an Applicant Tracking System
  • Recruitment or CIPD qualification would be beneficial, however not essential
  • Outgoing, socially confident, and emotionally controlled
  • Resilient, able to multi-task and work independently / flexibly
  • Strong generic IT, Microsoft office and presentation skills
  • Ideally experience of IRISHR / Cascade Go / Octopus HR system and professional services recruitment.
