Job Description

Avocet Commercial is working with an ambitious, collaborative Professional Services firm who have a great regional reputation and are looking for a passionateTalent Acquisition and HR Officer to join their team.Working within a close-knit team you will be responsible for taking the leadon the end-to-end recruitment processes, identifying, and attracting key talent and driving resourcing solutions.Reporting into and working closely with the Head of HR.Responsibilities for the Talent Acquisition and HR Officer include:

  • Strategic planning of all recruitment matters, regular reporting, and responsibility for Templates and Contracts
  • Working closely with the marketing department on social media recruitment presence and posts.
  • Processing Applications, arranging tests and interviews ensuring GDPR Compliance
  • Attending Career events including Universities, Schools, and Colleges.
  • New starters, Inductions and onboarding, referencing and
  • Disciplinaries, Grievances and Appeals where required.
The successful Talent Acquisition and HR Officer will be able to demonstrate the below skills and attributes
  • Minimum of 2 years recent recruitment experience
  • Ideally experience of IRISHR / Cascade Go / Octopus HR system plus ATS Management within a professional services environment
  • A positive attitude, friendly and approachable
  • Resilient, able to multi-task and work independently / flexibly.
  • Adaptable, organised, and conscientious
  • Creative, resourceful with proven accuracy and an eye for detail
  • Discreet, professional and team orientated in approach
  • Ability to analyse and present information effectively, accurately, and concisely
Salary/ Benefits
  • Starting salary of up to£28,000 depending on experience
  • 36.25 hours / 5 days per week with flexible and hybrid or office working available (possibility of 3 to 4 days working from home per week in some circumstances).
  • 20 days annual leave (rising to 25 days after 3 years’ service) plus bank holidays.
  • Opportunity to carry over 1 week’s holiday into the following year.
