Job Description

We are delighted to be looking for an experienced Graduate Structural Engineer who is industry experience and is working toward chartered status to work for exciting and vibrant practice in Exeter. As a Structural Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Detailed design and analysis duties on building structures from a range of sectors including unique bespoke projects
  • Supporting a talented design team of Structural Engineers and Technicians
  • Undertaking site visits, supporting site managers on technical issues, undertaking surveys and writing reports
  • Obtaining a good understanding of issues on site and devising and providing solutions with particular emphasis on communicating with contractors, architects and clients
  • Managing small projects from inception through to completion while assisting on larger schemes.
    • This business is a fairly new addition to the local market but are already punching well above their weight and delivering projects across the South of England. We are looking for someone who is interested in managing clients, developing their own relationships and managing projects from inception through to completion. Essential criteria for this role:
  • A relevant degree in civil or structural engineering
  • Experience working with building structures
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of the design process
