Job Description

Abatec is assisting a highly regarded Civil Engineering contractor with the recruitment of a permanent Site Engineer. Our client delivers civil engineering schemes with values up to £1.5m, which encompass highways, RC structures and utilities projects acrossDevon.As Site Engineer you will:

  • Be responsible for setting out and surveying on site.
  • Locate and mark services ahead of excavation with the use of CAT & GENNY.
  • Check drawings and take offs for accuracy, ordering materials etc.
  • Produce QA documentation.
  • Resolve design/technical issues that may arise.
Our client requires a Site Engineer/Manager with:
  • Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations and GPS.
  • A good understating of construction health & safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Understanding of AutoCAD.
Salary and benefits include:
  • Up to £36,000 per annum
  • Benefits package includes company vehicle, private medical insurance, pension etc.
