Job Description

Service Delivery Engineer / Installation EngineerOur client, a successful telecommunications company is looking to recruit a Service Delivery Engineer to join there ever expanding team.Key responsibilities and accountabilitys:

  • Complete site surveys to record the most appropriate route from the nearest point of the network to the customers premises
  • Installing fibre in customer premises, business and residential, including splicing
  • Undertake appropriate testing to ensure the service ordered will deliver an excellent customer experience
  • Being customer centric at-all-times, and making sure the customer is delighted with the service and installation completed before leaving site
  • Working collaboratively with other teams to troubleshoot technical queries and resolve issues
  • Ensure regular communications with the SD Supervisor, team members, and other teams in order to maintain a reliable network that our customers expect
  • Ensure that all installation compliance requirements are correct and up to date
  • Work on special projects, as assigned, to help achieve the goals of the department

  • Note that this role includes physical challenges:
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move heavy equipment.
  • The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places .

    • Qualifications
  • Ability to drive: min 1 year (required) and must hold a valid drivers license and a satisfactory driving record
  • Street works Unit 2 signing, lighting and guarding NRSWA (required)
  • External cabling (required) and internal cabling (required)
  • Confined spaces low and high risk (required)
  • Overhead accreditations (preferred)
  • Civils experience (preferred)
    • Benefits
  • Salary - up to £28K per annum ( depending on experience)
  • Up to 10% bonus (depending on the companys and individuals performance)
  • 25 days of holidays + bank holidays
  • 6% pension plan from the company
  • Working hours: 8am - 5 pm, 1 hour of lunchbreak, possible overtime paid
  • Shared van (2 man teams)
