Senior Quantitty Surveyor - ConstructionSouth West ContractorExeter£45,000-65,000k + BenefitsFull-time PermanentBuild Recruitment South West are proud to be supporting a long term trusted client with the immediate request for a BuyerOur client who has an impressive programme of works and client base is keen to talk toa senior quantity surveyor who is looking to grow and develop their cost planning and local subcontractor knowledge. This award winning regional contractor is lookingto appoint a senior quantity surveyor andjoin an experienced team based in Devon. These are of great importance so we are looking to talk to senior quantity surveyors who can bring some input and experience into the role.About your new Role:With sites across Devon and Cornwall and an extensive client base; covering commercial, and residential housing schemes this is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified candidate to join a forward -thinking team of like- minded professionals.Your position will will beprocure all the materials required for building projects and ensure they are provided on time and within allocated budgets.Day to Day:

  • Day to day supervision of budget control on various sites from the Exeter office
  • Client contact, site meetings reviewing costings across projects
  • Weekly and monthly reporting
  • Ensuring work is completed on time, within programme agreed
Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):
  • Suitably qualified QS with over 7 years experience
  • Civilsbackground would be beneficial
  • Understanding of running new build housing contracts
  • Management of assistant surveyors would be beneficial
