Job Description

A leading in-house client of ours in Exeter is looking for a Senior Occupational Health Nurse Consultant on a Permanent basis, its Hybrid and either full or part-time.Experience of Training / Education is desirable.The Senior Occupational Health Nurse Consultant will work within the clients senior management sector providing expert evidence based clinical advice (psychological / physical aspects) and safe systems of work to colleagues, employees, line managers andHR functions.For this Hybrid Senior Occupational Health Nurse Consultant role, a car and / or travel expenses will be provided for any site-visits.This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a friendly and pro-active In-House OH team.Experience / skills required:

  • Ideally s Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (OH) and Part 3 of the specialist register (NMC). Public health related post graduate qualification / equivalent qualification in health-related training and education
  • Able to work both in a team and autonomously
  • Ability to provide expert evidence based clinical advice (psychological and physical aspects)
  • Demonstrate extensive education and training competency and provide evidence of having managed and developed a team within a complex Occupational Health setting.
  • Demonstrate experience of Clinical Governance as a forum for sharing of practice, progression of cases and undertaking clinical audits. Demonstrable experience in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
