Job Description

We are searching for Senior Back End Web Developers for an exciting and successful player in the gaming industry. Our client has millions of users worldwide and they develop web applications using the latest technologies. The software developedprocesses extremely high traffic and receives a vast number of simultaneous requests from users who expect fast load times.Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate an in-depth background in back end web development and will have strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude towards team work and collaboration.We are happy to speak with candidates who have developed web applications in various languages. If you have coded extensively in any of the following we are interested in talking with you; Ruby, C, C++, C#, Java, Perl, PHP and Python.To be considered for this role you MUST have in-depth experience working with at least one server-side web application framework. Experience with Ruby on Rails (Rails), Django, Spring, Laravel, Flask, ASP.NET, Koa, Phoenix, CakePHP, Expressor similar frameworks, is highly desired.In this role you will be working with and using a wide range of web technologies to develop new application features. You will be responsible for code reviews, system integration, mentoring other Developers and collaborating with Team Leaders to ensure projectsare developed successfully.Successful candidates will have experience in a mixture of the following: -

  • Working as a Senior Developer or Lead Developer.
  • Agile Methodologies.
  • Production of web frameworks, databases and data storage.
  • Knowledge of programming best practices.
  • Testing and QA.
  • Linux Administration.
  • Distributed systems and scalability.
  • TDD or DDD.
  • CI/CD.
  • Kubernetes or similar.
  • DevOps tools (Docker, ELK or similar).
  • Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Cloudflare or similar).
  • An ability to learn new tools and technologies.
