The Role:The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating and coaching the software development team in the use of Scrum methodology. The Scrum Master will work with the team to ensure that they are following the Scrum framework and principles, and that they are ableto deliver high-quality software on time and within budget. The Scrum Master will operate across a range of software products, primarily in the utilities industries, managing the technical elements of IT enabled business change projects for our clients. We work closely with our customers to ensure the best possiblesolution to meet their business requirements and deliver a return on their investment. As a Scrum Master, you will work with a teams of specialist developers. You will co-ordinate the end-to-end development life cycle and ensure strong communication with stakeholders. Our clients are primarily UK based utilities companies and as such work will be UK wide. Responsibilities: Facilitate Scrum events, including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives. Coach the team on Scrum practices and principles. Remove impediments to the teams progress. Promote collaboration and communication within the team and wider business unit. Work with the product owner to ensure that the team understands the product backlog and that the team is working on the right things. Track the teams progress and identify areas for improvement. Report on the teams progress to stakeholders. Requirements: Essential: 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Agile methodologies. Experience with Scrum framework and principles. Excellent facilitation and coaching skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
