Job Description

About the role:We are recruiting a Sales Office Manger to take responsibility for the continued servicing and development of existing allocated Exeter Civils accounts. You will have responsibility for growing sales and margin and increasing overall branch profitability and grow market share.You will also be responsible for:

  • Maintain and continue to develop the plan for the growth of Civils customers
  • Achieve budgeted sales and margin for agreed Civils products.
  • Develop and manage resources within the Civils team relevant to growth plans
  • Negotiate and update contracts with customers as and when required
  • Provide feedback on customer and market trends
  • To effectively communicate and coordinate information within the Exeter branch
  • Provide additional support to other Civils account and regional sales teams, to share knowledge
  • Enhance relationships with preferred suppliers
  • Ensure outstanding customer care through customers and branches, holding face to face meetings with larger customers where appropriate to grow profitable business
  • Ensure that the customers pay to terms in line with the negotiated Commercial agreements
  • What we are looking for:
  • Previous Sales experience within a Civils environment.
  • Experience of growing profitable sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Rounded commercial/business skills with a basic understanding of P&L management.
  • Excellent coaching and team development skills
