Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager required to join a leading engineering supplier of compressed air products and services.The successful Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager will work remotely, covering the Southwest selling and managing key accounts of compressed air products and services at customer sites into various industries.The successful Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager must have experience selling, servicing, or managing accounts within the fluid power sector such as compressors, vacuum systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, filtration, blowers &dryers, nitrogen generators, pumps, valves or similar compressed air related equipment.Package£35,000 - £42,000 depending on experienceHigh bonus schemeCompany car25 days holiday plus bank holidaysphone, laptop plus additional benefits.Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager RoleManaging a number of key accounts via distribution channels and OEM customers of compressed air equipment, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators, filtration, pipework & more into various industries.Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling compressed air energy saving products & services.Maintaining new compressor sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.Energy audits of compressed air and vacuum systems.Liaise with various engineering departments.Fully remote, covering Southwest- Devon, Cornwall, Exeter & surrounding areas.Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager RequirementsExperience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within mechanical engineering.Compressor Service Engineers looking to come off the tools and progress into a sales role would also be of interest.A technical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, or Degree would be advantageous.Experience selling or managing accounts within the fluid power sector such as compressors, vacuum systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, filtration, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators, pumps, valves, or similar compressed air related equipment. Full training provided.Full clean driving license.Willingness to travel the Southwest- Devon, Cornwall, Exeter & surrounding areas.
