Job Description

The RoleAt Fisher German our people and clients are at the heart of what we do, so we are looking for an experienced Rural Chartered Surveyor who has a complete focus on client delivery. We would like someone to help us develop the brand and business in the South West. You will be working with a mix of well-known blue-chip companies and private clients in the South West.The role will include:

  • General property consultancy services
  • Acquisitions and Planning - strategic sites for operational purposes and investments. Planning of alternatives for redundant operational and agricultural sites
  • Managing major projects on behalf of clients to meet their income generation and operational demands. This involves the delivery of site regeneration, strategic development, and operational sites
  • Property valuation and disposals on a broad spectrum of residential and rural development sites
    • The CompanyFollowing a merger in 2000 between Fisher Hoggarth and Germans we have a history going back as far as 1830, but that does not mean we are stuck in the past. Our innovative and forward-thinking Partnership has driven the business from 3 offices and 50 people in 2000, to 600 people across 25 offices in 2020. We advise and manage a wide range of client portfolios with national visibility across all the 6 property sectors: rural, commercial, development, residential, utilities & infrastructure and sustainable energy.Driven by our ongoing success Fisher German has made the decision to open a satellite office in Exeter, to service our growing client base in the South West. This will provide a centre for the existing team who currently work in the area. It also creates a new and exciting role for a surveyor to join them.The successful candidate will have
  • MRICS
  • Relevant experience in a similar role including Landlord and Tenant
  • A client delivery focus
  • First class written and spoken communication skills to deliver effective client services and interactions with colleagues and contacts
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and deliver to deadlines
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion techniques
  • A collaborative and cohesive approach to teamwork to aid service delivery
  • Self-management and the ability to roll your sleeves up and assist where required
