Job Description

Seetec are recruiting an accomplished Risk & Business Continuity Specialist to join our team to provide risk and business continuity expertise, support and challenge across the Seetec organisation and supply chain.This role will work closely as a business partner to build front line capability and provide expertise and challenge to ensure Seetec complies with all contractual requirements, internal and client policies and with best practice.Our ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of implementing international BCM standards particularly ISO 22301 and experience of providing expertise a multi-site environment. You will be experienced in incident/crisis management and risk management.Key Responsibilities• Assist the Group Risk and Business Continuity Manager to develop and implement the Risk & Business Continuity strategies and frameworks to provide a consistent and robust approach for implementing Risk, Business Continuity and Incident Management across the Seetec Group• Facilitating risk workshops with management boards to support the identification, assessment and management of risks• Work with all areas of the business to complete appropriate Risk Assessments, Business Impact Analyses and recovery plans.• Refresh, update and develop appropriate Risk & BCM policies, minimum standards, guidelines, templates, BIA and monitor adherence through compliance reviews.• Represent the Group Risk & Assurance team on relevant governance forums and provide subject matter expertise to those forums as required.• Assist the Group Risk and Business Continuity Manger in achieving and maintaining ISO22301 accreditation if required. This will include liaising with auditors, preparing necessary evidence and assisting the organisation with its preparations.• Assisting other Group Risk & Assurance team members in maintaining Seetec’s other non-BC specific ISO accreditations and customer standards (e.g. ISO 27001, ISO 14001, PAT, MERLIN etc.), providing Subject Matter Expertise and responding to auditor queries as required.Skills and ExperienceEssential• Experience of providing subject matter expertise in the area of risk, business continuity and disaster recovery plans in a multi-site environment• Experience in incident / crisis management as part of a defined incident management structure and team• Experience of Risk Management within a complex business from frontline risk identification to principle risk articulation• Demonstrable experience of implementing risk & business continuity management frameworks, policies and guidelines, including plan and BIA templates, which can be used by management.• Demonstrable experience of developing appropriate testing schedules, and assisting the business to exercise BCM arrangements.• Experience of performing business impact analysis and developing fit for purpose Business Continuity Plans and IT Disaster Recovery plans.• Demonstrable ability to work with senior managers/ key external stakeholders and have personal impact with operational management teams.• Good knowledge of IT systems and ability to understand the risks and controls therein.• A good knowledge and understanding of implementing international BCM standards (ISO 22301 in particular)Desirable• A recognised professional Business Continuity Management qualification.• Experience of using and implementing integrated compliance, audit and risk tools and coaching others to use these tools in building BCPs and IT Disaster Recovery Plans, for the benefit of the business• Experience of working for an organisation providing public services in a multi-site setting• Experience of Risk Key Control Assurance testing• Experience of business partnering with the first line of defence• A good understanding of Risk Management principles and understanding of how BCM fits in to the wider assurance frameworkAdditional InformationSalary: £41,650 to £49,000 pa (dependent on experience)Location: Flexible South West EnglandIn light of Covid 19 interviews will be undertaken via Skype.Hours: 37 Hours a week.
