Quality Systems Manager Exeter Up to £33k DOE This is a Fabulous opportunity to join an established and growing Manufacturer of premium products in a Quality Supervisor role. My client is based near Exeter and the role will report directly to Technical Manager. The successful Quality Systems Manager role will be to review standards, policies, and procedures, as well as carry out reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs. Responsibilities Proving cover for the Head of Technical and Quality Being responsible for external audits including BRCGS, ISO 9001, Organic, Halal, Kosher and Coeliac. Ensuring programmed reviews of policies, plans and procedures are completed regularly. Assisting with updating, amending, and issuing all documents and quality procedures within the Document Control System. Ensuring structured management for change control, includes review of HACCP plan. Assisting in the investigation of customer complaints, working with the production teams to identify root cause of issues. Support and monitor the implementation of agreed corrective and preventative actions. Providing technical guidance, training, and support to the manufacturing team, developing awareness, and understanding of technical issues. Assisting with the completion of documents requested by customers, including questionnaires and technical queries. Preparing and hosting customer audits Being an on-call member of the incident management team. Other duties as assigned or required. Quality Systems Skills and Qualifications Food Related or Science Degree Experience working within Food manufacturing is required. Practical experience of BRC accreditation, ISO 9001 and HACCP. Desirable experience include internal auditing and customer audits/responding queries.
