Job Description

Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) are a nationally recognised mortgage broker and network, winners of over 200 awards in the past 5 years and continually growing.We are looking for an experienced Protection Adviser to provide high quality protection advice to our clients working for one of our top AR business partners in their Exeter office; this will cover all manner of mortgage and family protection including home insurance!This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to join one of MABs excellent, market leading mortgage brokers who are continually growing! You must have a minimum of 2 years experience of selling protection policies, and consistently exceedingsales targets.You must be hard working, flexible, an excellent communicator and willing to go that extra mile to provide a 5-star service to our clients.Your duties will include:

  • Conduct appointments with clients in a friendly and engaging manner, communicating clearly with clients and have the ability to explain protection products in a concise way
  • Providing a written recommendation confirming the best advice to suit the customer’s needs following a comprehensive fact find
  • Be able to asses existing policies, to review and replace if required to suit customers changing circumstances
  • Be able to spot opportunities to review cover in a compliant manner ensuring that client is never knowingly disadvantaged
  • Be able to replace or recommend amendments to existing cover providing documented reports to fully explain changes to cover
  • Be able to provide quotations for personal, family & home protection and explain recommendations at a level client understands or requires
What you will get in return:

  • Leads provided from a client bank in excess of 70,000, however, you will need to be pro-active to follow up all leads and work through them to gain the business!
  • Full training on Systems used for protection sourcing
  • Generous employed contract and uncapped earnings
