Project Manager (Solar O&M) Exeter£30000 - £40000 + Training + Bonus + Pension + HolidaysExcellent opportunity for an electrical project manager to join an ambitious and expanding renewable energy company in an autonomous role where you will receive training and scope to progress your career.This company specialise in the design, installation and maintenance of domestic and commercial solar, EV charging and battery storage projects across the South West and UK wide. They have thrived in recent years and are now looking to expand their team to facilitate future growth and success.In this role, you will be responsible for the management of all commercial operations and maintenance projects across the business from pricing to completion. This will involve budget and operational planning, ensuring H&S and regulatory standards are met, regular progress updates to customers and ensuring work is completed on time within budget.The ideal candidate will be an electrically biased project manager from the commercial sector. Although experience in the solar sector is highly advantageous, it is not essential and training will be provided.This is a fantastic opportunity to get into the highly sought after renewable energy industry with a well established company where you will play a key part in the growth and success of the business.The role: *Responsible for pricing, planning and management of commercial O&M projects *Secure new projects as well as managing existing portfolio *Ensure work is completed on time and within budget *Build and maintain customer relationships, regularly update on progress and answer queries *Occasional site visits ensuring work is H&S compliant and completed to regulatory standards *South West focus but also projects UK wide *Office / Home based with occasional travelThe Person: *Experience in a similar project management role *Electrical engineering degree or qualified electrician (NVQ level 3) *Solar PV experience highly desirable *Commercially aware *Driven and able to perform under pressure *Commutable to Exeter *Full UK Driving LicenseThe services of Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd are that of an Employment Agency.
