Job Description

Project Manager - Bespoke FurnitureJob Title: Project Manager - Bespoke FurnitureIndustry Sector: Manufacturing, Main Contractors, Sub-contractors, Joinery, Bespoke Furniture, Banqueting Furniture, Fixed Benches, Loose Furniture, Project Manager, Project ManagementLocation: Devon Remuneration: up to £42,000Benefits: Full ComprehensiveThe role of the Project Manager - Bespoke Furniture will involve:

  • Project Manager position dealing with a manufactured range of bespoke high end furniture
  • Managing the design, purchasing, manufacture and installation process for multiple projects
  • Understanding client requirements and turning them into live projects
  • Regularly liaise with clients throughout the process to keep them updated
  • Working closely with the design team to ensure that designs match up to requirements
  • Oversee the manufacturing process and carrying out quality control checks of products
  • Manage the installation process and assist with all snagging
  • Carrying out cost control and ensuring that projects remain within budget
  • Chair and attend regular project meetings, briefings and updates
  • The role is predominantly office based, with occasional site visits (majority of projects are London based)
The ideal applicant will be a Project Manager - Bespoke Furniture with:
  • Must have Project Management experience within the bespoke furniture market sector
  • Must have excellent people management skills
  • Ability to evaluate complex situations and provide the correct solution
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
  • Must have an eye for design
  • Resilient individual who can deal with subcontractors, installers, main contractors etc
  • Must be able to read technical drawings
  • A highly driven and enthusiastic individual
  • Ability to plan and organise deliverables
