Job Description

Pre-Construction Site Civil EngineerCivil Engineering Main ContractorSouth DevonWould you welcome the opportunity to join a family owned and professionally run Civil Engineering Contractor based in the South West RGB are delighted to be supporting one of the leading names with Civil Engineering within Devon who have an opportunity for a Pre-Construction / Civil Engineer to join them working on projects up to £1 Million in value. Current Projects support South West Water,Western Power Distribution, Local Authorities and The Environment Agency on a number of schemes across the region.The role will be supporting the PM with a number of duties to include the following:Key duties:

  • Supporting the Bid Manager with the preparation of tenders for civil engineering works.
  • Assist to prepare Bills of Quantities/materials take-offs from drawings
  • Production of/assisting with quality documents for tender submissions.
  • Researching, sourcing, negotiating, and obtaining quotations from suppliers & subcontractors.
  • Site visits to assist in producing a scope of works and programme sequencing.
  • Preparing licence/permit applications
