If youre an experienced RMN or RNLD who enjoys shaping and influencing junior nurses to deliver nothing less than great healthcare, then this might be for you.Join the team at Pinhoe View, a new purpose-built facility in Exeter as a Practice Development Nurse, where a range of mental health services are provided for adults with acute mental health conditions across two wards and eight individual flats.Working 37.5 hours a week, you will be responsible for overseeing the training and education programmes to support nurses and relevant support staff in delivering consistently high quality clinical care.As a Practice Development Nurse, you will implement the induction training programmes for new staff members, oversee and support staff with mandatory training, promote CPD opportunities and work with the Lead Nurse to develop training programmes for nursesto expand their clinical skills.You will act as the lead coordinator for student nurse placements, this will you see become the go-to person as you provide on-hand support for placements.
