Power Plant Maintenance Engineer Exeter £30,000 - £35,000 + Bonuses + Pension If youre skilled in carrying out maintenance on equipment such as boilers and turbines and looking to get into the Renewable Energy sector then this new opportunity could be right for you. The company operates several Biomass CHP Plants across the South of England and are looking to grow quickly over the coming years to become a key player in the Bioenergy market. In this role you be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on power plant equipment at several of the companys sites in the South West so as to ensure the efficient and continuous operation of their plants. This role will be right for someone who has already got mechanical maintenance experience and looking to apply their skills in a dynamic and varied environment. The opportunity to progress further within the company will also make this a good position for someone motivated by technical progression and looking to progress their career. The role: * Carrying out planned maintenance on pieces of equipment such as boilers, turbines and water treatment plant * Reactive maintenance when breakdowns occur * Fault finding and diagnostics * Ensuring work and stock records are properly maintained * Utilising asset management and maintenance software The person: * Mechanical engineering and/or welding experience * Previous experience of working with steam boilers * Experience of working in a heat or power plant (advantageous) * Knowledge of PLC control systems (advantageous) * Full UK driving license The services of Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd are that of an Employment Agency.
