Job Description

Job: Plant ManagerLocation: CountrywideSalary: £65,000 per annum (negotiable)Why work for this employerOur client has been through a period of growth and acquisition and has developed and diversified in the 4 decades it has been operational.   • You will be a key member of the organisation and be responsible for the service/maintenance team and all plant/equipment
  • Lead behavioural change, transformation and service improvement
  • Ensure the delivery of cost and service effective maintenance solutions to satisfy both external an internal customer needs within budget and agreed service KPIs
  • Ensure optimum levels of plant/equipment performance is achieved and sustained
  • Provide technical assistance and support to the service and maintenance teams
  • Ensure the safe operation of all activities making sure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and Safe Systems of Work are met
  • Manage, train and develop a team of multi-skilled engineers and technicians
  • Manage the workshop and staff
  • Manage department costs in line with KPI’s
  • Could this be youIn order to be considered for this role, you will have:
  • Experience working in the Quarrying/Mining/Construction/Processing Plant sector
  • Be confident advising on, and identifying any technical issues onsite
  • Strong technical and diagnostic ability
  • Managerial experience - be able to motivate and lead a team
