A growing and successful accountancy practice based in Exeter is searching for a Personal Tax Assistant to join their team delivering personal tax compliance service to wide ranging clients, along with increasing responsibility, client contact and involvementin tax planning/advisory work on offer as you develop within firm and role.Client DetailsBased in Exeter this highly regarded and successful accountancy firm is looking to bolster its tax department. The firm offers hybrid working with good mix of home to office working on offer, flexible hours highly competitive benefits and salary packages with support on offer for those pursuing qualifications.DescriptionJoining as a Personal Tax Assistant based from the firms Exeter offices you deliver personal tax compliance to a wide ranging client base. As you develop within the firm and role there will be increasing client contact and scope for involvement in deliveringwider tax planning services over time as you develop and progress within this team and firm . You will act for wide ranging individuals with exposure to more involved high net worth individuals and more complex compliance as you develop in the team preparingself assessment and personal tax returns. Over time as you progress further there is likely scope to learn skills on tax planning with potential involvement in working on areas such as inheritance tax, trusts, capital gains tax, and residence and domiciletax matters. The role and firm provides an excellent opportunity for you to develop your personal tax career.ProfileYou may be studying or qualified as an AAT / ATT, or studying for ACA/ACCA/CTA and you will have either specialised entirely within a personal tax career so far, with at least 1 - 2 years experience so far, or considerably more within your career so farto around the Personal Tax Assistant / Tax Senior levels, or you may have a more generalist, all around accounts and tax background, developed within an accountancy practice firm background and be looking to specialise your career in personal tax moving forward.Job Offer£25,000 - £27,000 + dependent on the experience and background of the right professional plus benefits.
