This role can be based from Bodmin or Exeter, delivering a first-class service for our internal & external customers and keeping our services running 24/7.We are in an exciting time of expanding our team and working with the very latest technology, so it is a great time to join us!What will you be doingAs our Operational Technology Standards Engineer, you will seek to understand business needs, assess options, produce strategies, designs, deliverables and roadmaps to align business strategy with Operational Technology (OT) strategy.You’ll provide design direction to projects and quality review of design options put forward by projects and third parties. You will ensure project solutions are going to be deliverable in the wider OT service context and identify project gaps, constraints, issues and risks in design.The Operational Technology Standards Engineer will develop OT standards and ensure adoption and adherence through ongoing engagement with Operational staff, Engineering, Regional Managers and third-party contractors.The scope of the technology base is wide, including sensors, instrumentation, plant networks, PLCs, SCADA, process control and telemetry. Additionally, you will be required to represent the strategic interests of South West Water at national bodies such as IET, WITS and Water 4.0.What do you need
