Job Description

Our client is an innovative and forward thinking telecommunications business who are looking to strengthen their networks team across the South West. Joining the business as their new Network Installation Engineer, you will assist in the day to day running of clients networks, both remotely and onsite.Responsibilities:

  • On-site installation and commissioning of Wifi networks including WAPs, PtP, PTMP, switches, routers, network cabling and termination
  • New Wifi network installations in both indoor and outdoor environments
  • Conduct site surveys and provide detailed quotations
  • Fault diagnosis and replacement of equipment
    • Requirements:
  • A good working knowledge of WiFi networks and network topologies
  • Solid understanding of computer systems and Cloud based computing
  • CAT 5/6 installation experience and/or qualifications
  • Understanding of fibre networks
  • Good understanding of connectivity including ADSL, FTTC, FTTP and Leased Lines
  • Good analytical and investigative skills
  • Capable of working alone in an unsupervised environment
    • This role is covering the South West region and as such, travel thoughout will be required, so this will be a fantastic opportunity to take in the beautiful scenery on offer in the South West! Our client provides a fully expensed company vehicle along with all of the required tools and equipment.
