This is a permanent, full-time role for an experiencedMultiskilled Technician with a 1st and 2nd FixJoinery bias, ideally with a background in damp proofing and timber treatment.A wonderful, established family company, specialising in the property care, preservation and waterproofing. This privately owned company have been at the forefront of the damp & timber treatment industry for over 50 years and are now looking for a multi-skilled Technician with the technical ability to a take on this varied and interesting position where no day is ever the same!MULTI SKILLED TECHNICIAN - JOINERY BIASLOCATION: Based in the South West of England, your territory will include South Devon, Exeter, Exmouth, Newton Abbott, Okehampton, Torquay, East Devon, Taunton, Plymouth, possibly Dartmouth, Bodmin, Exmoor areas.*A full UK driving licence is required*SALARY: £24,000 - £25,000 plus benefits, monthly bonus, company van, PPE & tools, company pension, healthcare cash plan, happy birthday holiday, loyalty awards, full access to support & training.HOURS: Full Time, 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday, occasional overtime available.Working as part of a small, friendly, close-knit team with a great team spirit, carrying out instructed damp and timber treatment on residential and commercial properties, liaising with the surveyor, you will be mainly carrying out waterproofing, timber treatment and joinery work, some plastering and other construction duties that require your technical skills, to diagnose/ treat dry rot / woodworm / damp.It would be advantageous if you understood the preservation industry, but the most important things are your all-round joinery / carpentry / building skills and NVQ Level 2 qualification.You will be a Multi Skilled Technician, confident in all aspects of joinery, carpentry and on-site construction (CSCS card required), able to work accurately and safely to plans. You will take real pride in the quality of your workmanship, still maintain the energy to work at a fast pace to ensure works are completed on time, to the required standards.Your background is likely to be in the building trade, Joinery and on-site Construction.
