Mobile HandypersonExeterCovering South West£23,000 per annum (Reviewed after probation) + Overtime Opportunities paid at Flat rate + Van + Tablet + Mobile + 25 Days Holiday + Bank holidays.40 Hours Per Week Monday to Friday with 1 in 3 Saturdays Required (Paid as overtime)Mobile Handypersonrole available within a stable company working in the retail sector. You will be tasked with carrying out service and installation tasks within leading supermarket stores across the patch. This is a great opportunity to join a well-establishedand growing business where you can boost potential earnings with overtime.The role would suit applicants from and light engineering or handy person background. Applicants from telecoms, domestic appliances, general maintenance backgrounds have previously transferred well. Candidates with any basic electrical skills are encouragedto apply. Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be flexible and prepared to work unusual hours to suit client needs. Applicants will ideally hold a CSCS card. Full training will be provided.The company are contracted within the retail industry to maintain/repair and install checkouts within the blue-chip supermarket chains. On the job training will be provided along with the opportunity to boost potential overtime with overtime opportunities.Service duties:* Attend breakdowns and PPMs at customer sites throughout the South West* Troubleshoot and repair / replace parts as needed.* Ensure that service reports and times sheets are submitted on time.* Ensure your van stock is accurate and maintained.* To carry out any other general duties within the capability of the post holder, that may be requested from time to time by management.* Typically, you would attend 5 or 6 calls throughout the day in the South West of the country.Installation duties:* Carry out planned works at customer sites throughout the South West of the country* Work on your own or as part of a team.* The post will require some work on Sundays and evenings/nights.
