Job Description

This is a fantastic new opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in marketing data solution design and analysis. Joining one of the leading law firms in the South West, youll be part of a friendly and supportive Marketing & Client DevelopmentTeam focused on delivering the firms ambitious strategy for the future.Whether you are early in your career or looking for a new challenge, youll enjoy working with different data sources and CRM platforms to draw out relevant and timely insights for the business. Comfortable driving initiatives forwards and able to operatein a client-focused environment, youll be commercial in your approach and enjoy working as part of a growing team looking to deliver change.What youll do Youll own the firms main client relationship management system in the marketing team, working closely with users and IT to ensure it delivers what the firm needs including:

  • Working with the risk and compliance team to ensure they manage their data in line with best practice and privacy by design principles.
  • Looking at how they collect and segment their data to ensure their communications are targeted and relevant.
  • Drawing out insights, statistics and dashboards to support and inform their business teams.
  • Collecting and analysing data insights on their marketing activities to drive improvements and better outcomes
  • Advising, training and supporting users of the system across the firm on best practice and approach.
  • Day-to-day management - dealing with queries, quality checking and data cleansing.
  • Helping to create mailing lists and ensuring sign-ups receive relevant and targeted information.
  • Identifying new tools and ways of working that can support the benefits a CRM can bring the firm - working with IT to deliver and drive engagement in their use.
  • Gathering data and maintaining centralised pipeline reporting, performance statistics and sales stage status updates.
Youll also be tasked with looking at the wider data sources available internally and externally to help inform what they do including:
  • Helping to analyse financial data to inform business planning.
Supporting the Client Engagement & Development Manager with the design, delivery and analysis of client reviews and post matter feedback activities - producing presentations and reports for the firm as neededThe expertise youll need
  • Able to understand data and what it can do to help drive business success in a marketing and sales context.
  • Strong research and analytical ability alongside a client-focused approach.
  • Able to manipulate data (including written status updates) in word or excel and interpret the results for the business.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and databases and comfortable getting to know how new systems work.
  • Understanding of Google Analytics and other digital analytics tools will be an advantage.
  • Confident, professional and effective, able to make things happen and engage with people at all levels across the business.
  • Able to always act professionally, ethically and with an absolute commitment to protecting client confidentiality and data.
  • Willing to roll your sleeves up, learn & develop your skills and think team first.
Experience:
  • A minimum of two years experience in a data role within a marketing or sales environment - B2B desirable or able to show skills that translate to a professional services environment.
  • Educated to degree level is preferred.
  • Excellent IT skills across Excel, PowerPoint and Word. PowerBI experience desirable.
  • A real comfort and willingness to learn and explore the potential of new systems and data sources.
