Job Description

I am working with an awarding winning forward looking fish restaurant chain who have sites thorough out the Devon and South west coast. They are looking for a Group Management accountant to help lead them into future. This a company with a high media profiledue to the quality of its food but also the companies culture and ethos. They really do invest in their staff and believe their staff are the most important element of creating a successful company. outfor the role of management account your main duties will include :

  • Full accountability of non-restaurant reporting
  • Prepare weekly/monthly management information and KPI reporting;
  • Supporting timely production of the monthly management accounts, including preparing and posting journals;
  • Preparing KPIs and providing detailed variance analysis of actual costs against budget for the senior management team;
  • Completing and reconciling all balance sheet control accounts and identifying and investigating any differences;
  • Providing absence cover for key tasks undertaken within the Finance team;
  • Continuous improvement of internal controls and processes;
There are more duties which an be discussed. You must have :Previous management accountants experience;
  • Qualified chartered CIMA, ACCA or equivalent;
  • Degree level an advantage;
  • Good levels of computer literacy (Excel to include vlookup and sumifs);
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Experience of cashflows desired ;
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Ability to communicate and deliver a quality service and to be adaptable under the pressure of tight deadlines;
  • Experience of Sage line 50 would be an advantage.
