Lead Test EngineerContract Length: 6 monthsLocation: Exeter (not essential to travel to Exeter) but will need to come to office on occasions 2 times a month£500 - £600 p/d UMBRELLA (IR35: Inside)Minimum Requirement:Assist teams in the delivery of product changes for the Breast Screening Service. This system supports the selection of women for invitation to the national breast screening programme for those age 50-70 and supports the very high risk screening programme forwomen referred from the genetics service. The Breast Screening service will be extended, in this financial year, to support breast screening in Wales and Northern Ireland. The next six months also sees the migration of the breast screening service to Cloud(AWS) hosting and the move to a Dev Ops culture. These changes would also be facilitated by this role.Significant and demonstrable experience of working with a delivery team in the role of tester. *Experience in automated testing using tools such as Cucumber and Selenium*Strong in writing unit, integration, end-to-end and smoke tests*Experience with continuous delivery, continuous deployment and automation*Proven record of using Test Driven Development (TDD)*Experience with the Cloud, using AWS*Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team*Have an understanding of Cloud technologies (particularly AWS, terraform and kubernetes)*Have an in-depth understanding of CI/CD pipelines (particularly Jenkins Pipeline), and quality control tools such as SonarQube*A solid background as a Tester*An inquisitive and exploratory mindset*A focus on quality*Experience of risk assessment and management*Knowledge and experience of test approaches and techniques*Ability to provide suitable test evidence*Proven ability to use structured test data and enable test environment provision to improve and aid functional and integration testing*Good working knowledge of risk modelling concepts to enable definition and review of technical risk assessments.*Specialist understanding of overall technological landscapes, evolving requirements, technology and trends*Thorough working knowledge of agile testing and assurance processes and methods for functional and integration testing and assurance.Advantage Resourcing is a service driven recruitment consultancy.
