Job Description

A modern, forward-thinking and innovative law firm in Exeter are looking to hire an HR & Recruitment Officer on a 12-month fixed-term contract, ideally to start towards mid-late January 2024. This is a great opportunity to join an experienced, effectiveand friendly team of HR professionals, with the opportunity to learn and develop skills within an amazing professional services sector, in law. This firm have amazing offices and a great culture, with a number of highly attractive features which makes recruitinga lot easier. The role itself is broad,with a variety of responsibilities, keeping each day varied and interesting, while also having a particular focus on the firms recruitment.Responsibilities include:

  • Providing a high quality HR service to the firms people
  • End-to-end recruitment
  • Identifying key talent
  • Driving resourcing solutions
  • Assisting with "early careers" programme
Skills and experience sought:
  • Previous HR or recruitment experience, maybe with a particular focus on recruitment
  • A credible and infectious persona, to help attract the best people
  • Any interest or knowledge of working within law would be an advantage
  • Be able to work efficiently and with a potentially busy workload
