Job Description

  • Monday to Friday (09:00 - 17:30)
  • One of Exeters top employers are looking to hire an experienced professional to support with all aspects of the companys health, safety, quality and environment. This role will be largely responsible for the companys development and implementation surrounding these areas and will provide advice to the company on a full range of matters, including operational health, fire safety and more. We are ideally after someone who has experience working within a manufacturing environment, as this will greatly help understand the challenges of the business. The company is a friendly, supportive and stable employer within Exeter, who have a great working culture and a low staff turnover.Tasks include:
  • Assist all levels of the management team to comply with health & safety
  • Encourage and promote safety across the business
  • Provide updates to the company on health and safety issues, by keeping up to date with new legislation

  • Skills and experience required:
  • Have a NEBOSH national general certificate, diploma or degree in Health & Safety, with a competency that meets TechIOSH membership as a minimum
  • Proven experience within a similar role
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Self-motivated approach and the ability to work independently
