Job Description

Personal development and ongoing support are other factors in them becoming a highly regarded employer.WhatDue to ongoing growth a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Strategic Account Manager with experience working with high profile key accounts within the Intermediary Insurance sector. Our client is looking for a driven self-starterwith exemplary communication skills, to lead and drive relationships with existing and identified potential new key/strategic partners as the brand representative on a national scale.

  • Drive new business and revenue targets and all other commercial activities
  • Identify strategic opportunities across key relationships to create, build and evolve them
  • Identify key personnel within accounts that influence the placement of products and other potential business opportunities.
  • Identify and build strong working relationships with relevant personnel at each target account
  • Identify key internal personnel who can establish relationships, or bring added value to key partner accounts
  • Instigate and maintain appropriate account review processes
  • Manage and take ownership of the end-to-end process of all activities and operational issues within existing and new target key accounts
  • Drive all aspects of distribution quality with account portfolio
  • Lead negotiations and discussions on all aspects of specific marketing funding and budget requirements.
  • Maximise marketing /advertising plans by communicating effectively with internal teams.
  • Identify, plan and co-ordinate opportunities for training new key partner accounts on both generic and product specific topics.
Required Skills and Knowledge
  • Degree or equivalent senior management experience
  • Excellent working knowledge and wide contact base within Intermediary Insurance field
  • Detailed understanding of the Intermediary network landscape and the mortgage market
  • Excellent knowledge of the protection market and key account structures
  • Appropriate technology and e-commerce skills to advise and promote products and processes
  • Ability to understand, plan and present a financial business case to support development
  • Effective communication skills - both oral and written, adjusting to fit audience
  • Demonstrate knowledge and success in managing tender processes
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Energetic, strong, and self-confident with proven ability to achieve and exceed targets
  • Positive and challenging mind set with a collaborative style
